UAE

The Abu Dhabi Industrial Strategy aims to strengthen the emirate’s position as the region’s most competitive industrial hub.

Complementing the strategy. ‘Make it in the Emirates’ is a key initiative to encourage the growth of the local manufacturing sector-boosting both self-sufficiency and global trading.

H. H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, launched the 3D Printing Strategic Alliance. This Alliance is aimed at developing the UAE into a leading 3D printing manufacturing hub.

SAUDI ARABIA

The market for 3D Printing in KSA is estimated at 558 Mn and forecasted -18% annual growth in the market until 2025.

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef confirmed that KSA is targeting to become a global leader in additive manufacturing (30 printing) through producing additive manufacturing raw material, developing engineering design capabilities, and localizing additive manufacturing services.

To support these objectives, Saudi Arabia’s leadership has prioritized the creation of an attractive investment environment.

OMAN

Petroleum Development Oman (P00), the national oil company for Oman, has partnered with the French startup Spare Parts 3D (5P3D). to assess the 3D printability of 150.000 unique spare parts.

EGYPT

The Egyptian Government is working on a roadmap to support the implementation of Additive Manufacturing in the Country.

They are working on allocating a Euro 50 million from 2023 – 2025 towards purchasing new machines and local material production.

AM Conclave Middle East will be hosted in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) on 11-12 September 2024.

We have chosen Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates for the inaugural edition a it is truly a one-of-a-kind destination with a strong intent and vision for adopting advanced manufacturing technologies. Abu Dhabi as a city is vibrant, modern and is known for being the safest city in the world. It’s ideally positioned to be so that half of the world’s population is within a five hour flight and with good flight connections from the world over.

AM Conclave Middle East will take place at ADNEC Conference Hall A & B with ample space for learning and networking. Located in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, ADNEC is a multi-award-winning venue, with state-of-the-art facilities to provide our attendees with the best experience.

Stay in the iconic Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, located only 15 minutes from the airport and key attractions and adjacent to ADNEC, is situated in the iconic Capital Gate. Capital Gate is one of the tallest buildings in the city and is designed to incline 18° west.

Abu Dhabi International Airport

There are many transportation options available to and from the airport.

The attire for this event is business casual.

There are several emergency numbers you can dial while in Abu Dhabi and elsewhere in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The time zone in Abu Dhabi is (GMT+4) Gulf Standard Time.

Currency: The UAE Dirham is the currency used in Abu Dhabi.

Tipping: Tipping is not expected but is commonly practiced in the Emirates. Gratuities to hotel and restaurant staff are at your discretion. Many fine dining and high-end restaurants may add a service charge (usually around 10%) and a tourism levy of 6% to your bill.

In Abu Dhabi and all places within the United Arab Emirates the associated plug type is G, which is the plug that has three rectangular pins in a triangular pattern. Abu Dhabi operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz.

Visit your country’s government website for information about and recommendations for traveling to Abu Dhabi. When traveling outside your home country, it is recommended that you notify your embassy’s or consulates’ office of your travel dates and destination.

Your request will be processed within 10 business days. Requests for confirmation letters must be submitted by 30 June 2024. Requests for mailed letters will be reviewed, and additional fees will apply. The confirmation letter does not guarantee that you will receive a visa. Confirmation letters include only the event title, the dates, the location, the payment confirmation of registration fees, and verification that you are a presenter, if applicable. If you are denied a visa, we will provide you with a full refund as long as we are notified before 15 July 2024. Attendees are advised to apply for a visa as early as possible.

US attendees with a valid US passport will automatically receive a visa upon arrival to the UAE and should not request a visa letter.
